Dutch Bros CEO Christine Barone discussed her company's expansion strategy in an interview with CNBC's Jim Cramer, saying the coffee chain focuses on training employees when they go to a new market. Barone said Dutch Bros is "on the path" to 4,000 stores and hit 876 locations this quarter. Dutch Bros beat analysts' expectations when it reported earnings Tuesday evening, and shares closed 11.79% higher Wednesday. The company's success follows a weaker-than-expected quarter from competitor Starbucks . Barone, who took over as CEO in January, attributed some of Dutch Bros' success to its emphasis on customer service.

Since 1940, the state has voted for the Republican presidential nominee in every election except for 1964 and 2008. And former President Donald Trump is virtually assured of winning the state this November, as he also did in 2016 and 2020. But an interesting thing happened on Tuesday: Trump won the GOP presidential primary, but former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley still won over 20 percent of the vote, despite her March exit from the race. With nearly all precincts reporting their results, Trump earned 461,663 votes (78.3 percent) to Haley's 128,168 votes (21.7 percent). But many suburban voters are also concerned about issues like the preservation of democracy, abortion rights, and environmental policy, which all strongly favor Biden.

Matt Calkins, CEO and co-founder of Appian, said that though internet giants like Microsoft , Amazon , and Google are spending billions on the tech, ensuring success in AI is "not just about money." "AI is not a place where money makes more money," Calkins told CNBC in an interview at its London bureau on Tuesday. Microsoft has struck a similar deal with Mistral, taking a 15 million euro ($16 million) stake in the French AI firm. Separately, Amazon has invested a whopping $4 billion into U.S. AI firm Anthropic, which is behind the Claude AI system. The annual challenge is a great example of ways kids can use digital tools "before, during and after" going outside to increase their connection to nature, says Galle. EarthSnapThis nature identification app uses a smartphone or tablet's camera to identify more than two million different plants, animals, bugs and other aspects of nature. For Leguizamo, one of those was Bruno, the reclusive uncle from "Encanto," a Disney animated film about a Colombian family with magical powers. "It was amazing," Leguizamo told BI. This year the rate markets have come back to a more sensible reality after flirting with the la-la land of 7 cuts. And all the while, the more sensible equity markets have paid only fleeting attention to their rate brother's whining. As a guy who was brought up in the fixed income and currency markets, I'm increasingly finding more sensibility in the equity markets as I head into later stages of my career. Having five-year inflation expectations (as measured by the 5-year breakeven inflation rate) never ramp higher while cumulative inflation surged around 20% since January 2021 is a testament to his stalwart success. There have been no fumbles at the Fed so far during a protracted fight to ensure anchored inflation expectations and long term price stability.

France’s president, Emmanuel Macron, promised to build the Summer Olympics safely, free of the construction hazards and migrant worker abuses that tarnished soccer’s 2022 World Cup in Qatar. “We are living up to the commitments we made,” Mr. Macron said in February. Government data shows fewer than 200 injuries at Olympics sites over a four-year construction blitz. But inspection records and other documents show that Olympics sites have been more dangerous than organizers have let on, with some projects failing to meet basic safety standards. When undocumented immigrants are hurt on the job, workers and officials say, the injuries are often handled off the books, all but guaranteeing that they will not show up in government statistics.

Opinion: Russia can lose this war

And far too many of us, during Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, have believed that. Of its three most consequential foreign wars, the Red Army lost two. And the Russian army of today is not the Red Army. It was disproportionately Ukrainians who fought their war to Berlin in the uniform of the Red Army. Russia can lose this war, and should, for the sake of Russians themselves.

The best strategy for tackling those moments of stress actually involves some preparation: Highly successful people get ahead of their unsteadiness with a key mindset shift, according to Lisa Feldman Barrett, a neuroscientist, author and psychology professor at Northeastern University. They don't see stress as something bad to be overcome, but instead as something natural that can be managed. Instead, she recommends doing exercises beforehand to practice doing what unnerves you, and to help train yourself to understand and handle the stress differently. "It's a shift from making the sensation go away to getting better at performing while I'm feeling the sensation," he said. New York CNN —Panera Bread is eliminating Charged Lemonade from its menu, the caffeinated beverage that has sparked multiple lawsuits and caused a public relations nightmare for the company. The Charged Lemonades will come off the menu in the next two weeks, according to Bloomberg, which first reported the news. The chain declined to comment to CNN on the timeline of the drinks’ removal. A Panera spokesperson said new drinks will replace it, including low-sugar and low-caffeine options, including a new blueberry lavender lemonade, pomegranate hibiscus tea, citrus punch and a tropical green smoothie. Panera kept the Charged Lemonades on the menu, despite the controversies, because experts say removing the drink immediately could have come across as an implied admission that something was wrong with it in the first place.
